Seattle FlyDogs

I’m proud to have had the opportunity to partner with the Seattle FlyDogs to make their performance at The Museum of Flight even more super! The talented pups wore my handmade dog capes as they jumped, soared, and dashed through obstacles, showing off their skills and training.

The Seattle FlyDogs is a local community club created with the intent to enrich the lives of dogs and their handlers by offering participation and training in canine athletic sports. Its purpose is for creating public awareness of dog sports, providing weekly drop-in training for all breeds and speeds, and for building camaraderie among its members and students with organized participation in skillful, athletic canine activities.

"I love to make others smile"

Great story from a Creative Capes fan... Good morning to the Creative Capes crew! My wife and I would like to share a quick story with you. Our son Steven, who we affectionately call bug, was given a Creative Cape by his aunt about a year ago at the Yarmouth clam festival. Now bug has gone through many a cape over the years but this one is special and he loves how it fits. Since he has put the cape on from the first day he wears it literally everywhere. So it was no surprise to us when our local magazine in Somerville, Massachusetts wanted to interview our bug for starting a non profit that raises money so he can gift adaptive bicycles to kids with different abilities and recognize him for his charity work he wanted to wear his Creative Cape to both the interview and the photo shoot because this is how people know him, as "SUPER S" the s is for Steve. So we were blown away when the issue came out that he was #2 of the top 40 leaders in Somerville for his hard work. He also is medically complex with 2 rare genetic disorders that can slow him down but not stop his ambitiousness. He always wears his cape to Boston children's hospital with scuba flippers to in his words "I love to make others smile". Thank you for making a product that not just is about kid play, but is empowering little ones to do the best they can. —Proud Dad of Super S

Sparking Imagination

"As soon as he put the mask on I was amazed. It was like he transformed in front of our eyes. His excitement was contagious and his fears melted away.

The mask and cape really makes him into a superhero in his mind, but he loves the fact that he has a full costume. The ultimate kit we received includes a cape, mask, wrist cuffs, and belt. Honestly now I think it wouldn't be right to not have all 4 pieces to the set.

Cam loves how "super cool" he looks, but what I love is that everything is such great quality. The capes are soft and double-sided, which makes them thick so they lay perfectly, but they are not heavy. Cam has run around outside, through our gardens,  and jumped on the trampoline wearing his and it still looks like I just took it out of the package.

As a parent you know how important it is to give our children tools to spark their creativity and imagination and this gift definitely has. He gets excited to put it on and will wear it all day long.

Holly, thank you for creating a product that not only sparks my son's imagination and makes him feel empowered, but also for your generosity, friendliness, and speed at helping me make his birthday complete."

The Power of Imagination

The Power of Imagination

As an adult, I had forgotten what it was like to be a child and have the power of imagination with no boundaries. It was such a touching moment the first time the boys put on their capes and masks, they ran in circles for 20 minutes truely believing they were appointed to save the world. I absolutely love the change that takes place the minute you give them the ability to be something other than just an ordinary 4 year old that needs a nap.

My two nieces are now begging for superhero capes of their own so we can have a full-on superhero team (and the oldest is almost 9 so they transend age)! I was also honestly shocked at how well made and durable the capes are after rolling around on concrete and through a field for our photo shoot! They are not only great for encouraging my kids to use their imagination but something that they will be able to pass down to their children one day.

Thank you so much for your creativity, craftsmanship and the added magic that comes with each cape. – Mindy Guy

Childhood Memories Enhanced with Creative Capes

Creative Capes on the BeachThese capes are the coolest capes my husband and I have ever seen! Not to mention our boys are absolutely obsessed with them! We went out to the beach and they had to take them. I can't even count how many people complimented them and asked us where we got them. -Jessica Parks

Christmas Dreams Come True

"I purchased Super Hero outfits for my nephews for Christmas. They loved them. They kept them on almost all day! It was probably the best gift I have given them and because they are generous in size they will be able to wear them for a number of years." Thank, Holly for such a great idea!
